Permanent magnet synchronous motor direct torque control technology

Direct Self-Control ( DSC ) constructs a model of the magnetic chain and electromagnetic torque in the stator stationary coordinate system, and realizes the control of electromagnetic torque and stator magnetic chain by applying different voltage vectors. The direct torque control method has the advantages of simple algorithm and good torque response, therefore, it is widely used in applications requiring high transient torque response. 

The inherent disadvantages of the control make the direct torque control method to have low control frequency and large torque pulsations at low speeds. Therefore, reducing the torque pulsation at low speeds has also become a research hotspot in direct torque control methods, Sun Xiaohui et al. reduced the torque pulsation at low speeds by optimizing the time of action of voltage vectors, which was effective.D.casadei et al. applied the direct torque control method based on the discrete space vector modulation technique in the control of AC induction motors, which reduced the torque pulsation.
