The permanent magnet rotor can produce magnetic field by permanent magnet, which helps to improve power factor without wattless excitation current, and can offer ultra-high efficiency no matter the speed and load. Compared with induction motors, it has better efficiency performance in all speed-regulating range. The motor witnessed more obvious efficiency and power factor improvement in low speed and low torque conditions.

TYP 5 - 160 M 1 - 30kW -3000r/min – W
Each motor has a nameplate, which shows the motor type and relevant technical data. Motor type is consist of several parts, as the example give above, “TYP” means the name of this series of motor, “5” refers to IE5 efficiency grade, “160” means the center height of the motor shaft, “M” refers to the length of the frame size, “1” is the length of the iron core, “30kW” is the motor’s rated power, and “3000r/min” means the rated speed, finally is the “W” mark, it is the environmental mark, when this mark is not shown on the nameplate, it means the motor is assumed as standard motor which is not designed for special use. For this mark, here are some examples: “W” means motor used outdoors, “F1/F2” means motor used indoors and anti-corrosive environment, “TH” means three proofings, and “WF1/WF2” means motor used outdoors and anti-corrosive environment.
