Motor fails to start in case of wrong wiring, inconsistent line voltage, protection device tripping, stator winding fault, overload, etc., at which time it shall inspect whether wiring of the control part is right, whether wiring terminal line voltage of motor is consistent with that on nameplate of the motor, whether overload relay and fuse are broken, whether stator coil has phenomenon of opening circuit, short circuit or earthing, whether stator and drawing equipment of motor are locked or frozen, whether starting equipment has faults, etc.Motor overheat may occur in case of excess high or low line voltage, overload, insufficient cooling medium amount, too high cooling medium temperature, turn-to-turn short circuit of coil, etc., at which time it shall inspect whether line voltage is consistent with that on nameplate of motor, whether three-phase voltage is balanced, whether ambient temperature exceeds a standard value, whether a heater exists nearby tuyere, whether three-phase resistance of winding is balanced, etc.
