When the YE3 motor working air gap is more than the maximum working air gap stipulated in Table (1) due to abrasion of the brake friction plate after the electromagnetic braking three-phase asynchronous motor operates for some time, it is required to remove the brake, clean up the friction surface, and readjust the mounting screw to enable the air gap to achieve the specified value. While adjusting the braking torque, the spring pressure can be adjusted by the adjusting screw to change the braking torque. Attention should be paid to the uniformity of spring pressure while adjusting, for fear of influencing the pull-in and release performance. But in normal case, the manufacturer has adjusted it in the case of delivery, and the user need not adjust.
