    Motor Description

    In modern industrial production, the mill as an important equipment, is widely used in mineral processing, building materials, chemical industry and other fields. The performance of the mill directly affects the production efficiency and product quality, while the motor driving the mill is one of its core components. In recent years, direct current motors (DC motors) have gradually become the preferred drive power source for grinding mills due to their superior performance and flexible control methods. In this paper, the application of DC motor in the mill will be introduced in detail.

    DC motor is a kind of electric motor that converts electric energy into mechanical energy, and its working principle is to drive the rotor rotation through the torque generated by the current in the electromagnetic field. DC motor has the advantages of rapid startup, convenient speed regulation, high control precision, etc. It is suitable for the occasions that require frequent speed regulation and reverse operation.

    The basic structure of DC motor includes stator, rotor, commutator and brushes. The stator generates a constant magnetic field and the rotor generates a rotating torque under the action of the current. The commutator serves to switch the direction of the current to keep the rotor rotating continuously. By adjusting the magnitude and direction of the current, precise control of motor speed and steering can be achieved.
